Outlined below, are the main details of our ownership schemes. These features are the same whichever partnership you choose. This information is designed to give you a greater understanding of how the partnerships will work in practice. For additional information, please refer to the “FAQ” section of the website:

Ownership

        Exclusivity  - The number of owners for each partnership are kept small ensuring exclusivity and a truly personal service.

        Peace of Mind - All partnerships and owners will be registered with the British Horseracing Board and Weatherbys, and operate within their guidelines.

        Security - All partnerships will be governed by a contract.

Racing

        Convenience - Wherever appropriate, horses will run at a local course, ensuring as many owners as possible will be able to attend.

        Assurance - All our horses will be insured.

        Colours - All horses will run under the colours of "West Country Racing".

Finances

         Fixed Costs - The price quoted for each partnership is fixed. If there is a shortfall in funds, West Country Racing will bear the cost. In no situation, will Owners be required to make additional funds available.  

         Winnings - Any money (prize, sponsorship or appearance) accrued by your horse, will be held in account until the end of the partnership. Surplus funds will be distributed at the conclusion of the partnership.

         Accountability - To ensure transparency, a full set of accounts will be given to Owners on the conclusion of the partnership
